Wiki racing has a simple rule: get from one Wikipedia article to another by following links. In The Endless Museum, those links are doors. You have to spot the right one and run through it.

How a race works
- Pick a race from the lobby. A random race gives you a start and a target. The daily race gives everyone the same course for that date.
- Read the doors. Each takes you to a linked article. On a keyboard, hold Tab to see doorway labels, then use WASD and the mouse to move.
- Reach the target. Your time and doorway crossings are recorded. After finishing, the results map compares your journey with the course’s reference route.
The tempting door isn’t always the useful one. A broad subject can give you more choices, but it can also leave you standing in a hall wondering which way to go.
Make one for a friend
Open Custom challenge in the lobby, choose a race, and pick your starting article and target. The game checks that it can find a playable route before creating the course. Copy the share link and send it to a friend; you can each run it and compare results.
For a first attempt, pick two subjects you both know. An artist and a country, perhaps, or an animal and a scientist. See which pairs the route checker can connect. You don’t need to know the answer yourself.
You race separately, so there’s no need to be online at the same time.
Time, crossings and rooms
A quick run and a short route are different achievements. Par is measured in doorway crossings (hops): a par of four means four crossings after the starting room. “Rooms” counts unique articles visited after the starting article, so revisiting a room does not increase that counter.
